Monocot Collective

October 10, 2008

Palm Trees are monocots. They are unlike other trees in that they do not have bark. Their structure is formed by the shells of cast off frawns. They do not have leaves in the typical sense either. Other monocots belong to the grass family.

When you see a cluster of grasses, they are called lawns or fields. A lone piece of grass is often labeled as a weed. A group of palm trees identifies an oasis, but may also signify a mirage. Crossed Palms point to buried treasure, but only if you know the secret.

A community is connected by the holes we dig and dreams we forget.
